This is the first update for the Duke Nukem Restoration Project, this package replaces the original First Slice and includes all the First Slice content and the Duke-It-Out content!
The DNF2001 Restoration Project contains one sole goal: to complete Duke Nukem Forever as it was originally intended back in 2001.

Drin steckt folgendes:
– A build of the canceled Duke Nukem 3D: Reloaded has surfaced online and can be downloaded for free alongside its development assets, source code, and editors.
– The build will allow everyone to play, explore, and tinker with everything related to the project; fans could utilize the build to reinvigorate the game.
– The leaked unfinished build deviates from the original Duke Nukem aesthetic and feels out of place in contrast to the official entries.
– The work-in-progress build is 4.8GB in size and was created in Unreal Engine 3. (exputer)
This is that Duke3D remake in Unreal Engine 3 announced by Interceptor Entertainment in 2010 and discountinued shortly after. This build includes a reimagining of E1L1 Hollywood Holocaust and a couple of testmaps, and a few of the weapons. (pagb666)

Tja wer hätte gedacht das 2022 ein so interessantes Jahr für Duke Nukem Fans wird?
– Sprinting removed and faster player movement
– Jump height increased
– Swim speed is much faster
– Player can now hold breath underwater for 45 seconds instead of 15
– Weapon rebalance and screen shake when shooting removed
– 2/4 weapon limit completelly removed
– Quicksaves (F5 by default)
– Fixed „The Hive“ chapter
– Depth of Field removed and new post processing effects
– Driving sections are now in first person perspective
– Enables shadows for all objects in the world

Restoration Project Trailer & Version am 21. Dezember
Das DNF2001 Restoration Project bekommt am 21. Dezember eine öffentliche Demo. An die Presse wurde die Version schon gegeben. Okay ich könnte mir das wohl besorgen, habe aber keine Zeit dafür.
Ich schätze die finale Version wird toll werden. Ein wenig müssen die Devs frei interpretieren, damit das Gameplay Spass macht.

Pagb666: No commentary gameplay/showcase of the alpha build from July 11th 2002 of Duke Nukem Endangered Species.
In this showcase I briefly traverse the game levels, showing the points of interest, enemies, and weapons. I don’t know if each level has its boss propertly implemented, so I might’ve missed them. There is not much gameplay to be shown, and the present one is very clunky. Endangered Species is Duke game from 2002, developed by Action Forms (Chasm, Carnivores, Cryostasis) and canceled in December 2002. The game would later be refurbished as Vivisector, there’s a @Civvie11 video about it, it is a fun game, check it out. I understand why this was canceled, duke just doesn’t belong to wide open world natural landscapes with 0 urban bits, traversing the levels on foot is slow and very boring and killing regular animals is uninteresting.
