Dario Casali is a level designer known for his contributions to Final Doom’s The Plutonia Experiment, the Half-Life series, Left 4 Dead, & Portal 2, to name only a few. Here he joins Bridgeburner to shed some light on what he’s learned in 25 years of designing levels for some of the greatest game franchises of all time.

Gut, grosse Community + viele Mods + langjährig am Leben + günstig oder es war mehrmals kostenlos über Steam zu bekommen. Einerseits wundert mich das nicht wieviel in L4D2 immer noch los ist. Andererseits wirklich Impressive wie sich das Spiel halten kann. Das in L4D2 manchmal 20.000 Leute spielen ist mir auch schon aufgefallen. Zu Trendspielen natürlich kein Vergleich. Back 4 Blood ist neu, kostet 70 Ocken Out of the Box und hat keine Mods. (kotaku)

Dead by Daylight – Bill aus Left 4 Dead bekommt hier eine Backstory

In Dead by Daylight ist Bill Overbeck aus Left 4 Dead zu sehen, als er sich an früher erinnert.

Der Charakter ist bereits seit 2017 spielbar in DBD im DLC #1. Jetzt ist ein kostenloses „Tome“ dazugekommen (which are short works of fiction and animated cinematics). Darin bekommt Bill eine Backstory im Vietnam Krieg.

A New Tome: FORSAKEN
This Tome explores William “Bill” Overbeck’s backstory and how he met the Left 4 Dead gang. Players will brave their way through new challenges to unlock an unprecedented glimpse into the weeks before he came to fight off the infected in Left 4 Dead.

Players can get their hands on a slew of Left 4 Dead’s themed charms featuring iconic elements from the movie for Survivors or Killers, all available for free. Players can also equip Bill with an exclusive outfit available in the Free Track and get the community outfit designed as part of the 2020 Community Contest inspired by creator Nohequin for Claudette. Other great exclusive outfits are available as part of the Premium Track for Kate Denson, The Plague, The Trapper and Zarina.

Joar, in Games wie Vermintide 2, Dead by Daylight, Payday 2 und Friday the 13th, war ich an Steam Free Weekends schon drin. Ich verstehe Entwickler, die den weiteren Support (Patches) eines Spiels durch Pay DLC’s finanzieren. Aber bei diesen Spielen sind es mir einfach zu viele Pay DLC’s die existieren. Das gefällt mir nicht.

Left 4 Dead 2 jetzt nicht mehr indiziert, Uncut DLC für Deutschland erschienen

Left 4 Dead 2 ist nicht mehr indiziert. Für alle Spieler der alten deutschen Version gibt es nun ein offizielles Uncut DLC auf Steam! Finde ich schön gelöst. (steam)

Noch länger nach Release konnte die physische UK Version auf deutschem Steam Account aktiviert werden. Was ich getan habe. Es gab auch zahlreiche Uncut Patches für die DE Version, in wieweit die gut funktioniert hatten weiss ich nicht.

DE / EU Vergleichsschnitte. Ähnlich wie in Deutschland wurde / wird auch in Australien viel zensiert. (schnittberichte)
