Ion Fury – Expansion heisst Aftershock und erscheint im Sommer 2021
Die kommende Ion Fury Expansion (DLC) hat jetzt einen Namen mit Aftershock und ein Release Date mit Sommer 2021. Die Expansion erscheint für PC, PS4, Xbox One und Switch.
Die Entwickler Voidpoint machen weiter, was schon bekannt war, und schrauben an einer Erweiterung (Addon / DLC) für Ion Fury.
Im „Duke Nukem Forever 2013 Mod“ für Duke Nukem 3D steuerte der Duke ebenfalls ein Motorrad. An der Expansion arbeiten auch die zwei Leute mit, Gambini & Mikko, von denen der DNF 2013 Mod stammt (Quelle Steam). DNF 2013 Mod war ziemlich super und wurde über die Community hinaus bekannt – lohnt also immer noch gespielt zu werden. Das spätere Addon habe ich nicht gespielt. Ein weiterer Patch ist in Arbeit.

Die Windows und Linux Versionen von Ion Fury werden über GOG und Steam verkauft. Mein Bauchgefühl sagt das DLC wird maximal 10 bis 15 Euro kosten.

Wrath – Making of the Priory
In einem Dev Blog wird beschrieben, wie das Gebiet Priory gemacht wurde. (steam)
Laut Roadmap erscheint Wrath von KillPixel Games im Sommer 2021 und die Early Access Version bekommt bis dahin keine Updates mehr.
Shadow Man Remastered erscheint nächsten Monat
Der damalige Titel von Acclaim, 1999 veröffentlicht für PC, Playstation, Nintendo 64 und Dreamcast, erscheint als Remaster zuerst für PC von Nightdive am 15. April auf den Plattformen Epic Store, Steam und GOG.
Später kommt das Remaster auch für PS4, Xbox One und Switch.
Ein Comic Reboot soll bald beginnen:
Comics publisher and the original creator of Shadow Man, Valiant Entertainment, also announced it will release its Shadow Man comic series reboot on April 28. Shadow Man #1 will be available for purchase from retail shops and online stores.

Serious Sam 4 Update 1.08 / Serious Sam 2 Update 2.90
Die Serious Sam Reihe wird zwanzig Jahre alt! Einen Steam Sale gibt es, wobei Croteam das ja öfters macht.
Serious Sam 4 bekommt auf PC unter anderem Steam Workshop Anschluss und einen Editor via neuem Patch. (steam)
Long story short. Serious Sam 4 bekommt dankenderweise Mod Suppport addiert. Damit ist gesichert das neuer Fan Content erscheinen kann und das Spiel durch Eigenkreationen länger lebt. Wie immer in der Mod Szene, irgendwann existieren 5 Superduper Projekte, die es wert sind gespielt zu werden.
Da der Patch doch recht gross ist (5 GB), rechne ich mit einem nachgeschobenen Fix Patch.

- Sam can now wield a brand new weapon called the BeamGun (aka The Ghost Buster from the original Serious Sam design document)
- Enemy multiplier option is now available in singleplayer and co-op. Go, create your own Legion System in Serious Sam 2.
- Duke it out on 12 previously unreleased multiplayer maps, coming to you straight from the dusty basement at Croteam HQ. Those include Yodeller, Stadium, Hole, Desert Temple, and more.
- A brand new Flame-Thrower weapon is now available to all you modders out there, and so is the napalm item, so you can feed it.
- Sam finally learned to dual wield all of his toys. That’s pretty cool if I do say so myself.
- You know what else is cool? The ability to sprint. Well, Sam can do that now, too.
- He can also Rocket Jump, just like in the classics.
- Get lost no more with the brand new Enemy, NPC, and Objective radar.
Serious Sam 2 wurde bisher nicht remastert bzw. nicht integriert in Serious Sam Fusion 2017, was an Eigenheiten der verwendeten Engine liegt. Croteam sagten mal, sie würden wenn sie Zeit hätten, vielleicht das Ganze auf die neue Engine von Fusion hieven. Also das kann passieren – muss es aber nicht.

In einer Gaming Dokumentation, basierend auf einem Buch, geht es um den Angriff von Sega auf Nintendo in den USA. Die Doku hat mir gut gefallen, denn es gab massig altes Bildmaterial und Zeitzeugen kamen zu Wort. So konnte ich mir gut vorstellen, wie das passiert ist. SEEEGAHHH! (wiki)
